    Appearances

I did a few interviews recently that have just hit the web.  Check them out:

The first is for Bite My Review, and the questions are a ton of fun.  I really had a good time doing this one.

The second is for a podcast called Q's House.  Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication when we set this one up.  When he told me he'd call me at 11am I didn't realize he was based in Florida - he assumed I knew he meant 11am East Coast Time.  Then, when he woke me up with the call at 8am my time (I know, I get to sleep in, poor me) he decided to just keep recording and do the interview anyway.  So if you want to hear me totally incoherent as I try to put a sentence together and wake up at the same time, give that one a listen.

Also, I was lucky enough to be asked back by the awesome film nuts at the /filmcast to talk about Zombieland and The Invention of Lying.  It is a long show, but great.

Hope you enjoy these - I'd love to hear your feedback below.

Just listened to the /filmcast episode. I've got to say, I thought you were completely right about the product placement in It's Always Sunny. Well done!

    Greetings Jeff,
I just want to take this opportunity to say a warm and sincere thank you for all the joy, entertainment, laughs and knowledge that you bring to your listening/watching public. It is comforting to me that good guys like yourself do finish first. You bring a lot of heart and passion to your work on TRS and other guest commentaries you do. What I admire about you is that during a debate with co-hosts or peers you strongly provide your opinion and when there is a dissenting opposite opinion you don't get nasty or rude to the other person. You sincerely listen and keep an open mind. It is always a great thrill when podcasts I listen to (like Slashfilm) have you on as a guest. I can be guaranteed that usually in the same couple of sentences that you will provide great insight and then when I 'm in contemplation you will spring a great zinger on us and I'll crack up! I feel like I'm inviting a friend into my home when I tune into your online sites. Keep on fighting the good fight man.
    Adam

Hi, Jeff. I found your podcast through Twitter I believe and as a Friday Night Lights fan, I'm ecstatic that you've found the show as wonderful as I do. My friend Kaitlin and I loved it so much we started a fan site where you can keep up on the latest about the show and cast and get wonderful quotes like the on from Tyra's essay. (linked on my name) There are lots of changes for Season 4 and you can get the details on the Spoiler page. But beware, there are some big ones in there!
Thanks for sharing with everyone how great the show is and I hope everyone jumps on this bandwagon. I just got into in the last few months myself and have NO IDEA why more people are not watching and talking about this show.
Anyway, thanks for doing the podcast and keep doing a great job!

Hey Jeff, just wanted to say that I've heard both the /filmcasts, and I personally think your Terminator pitch sounds AWESOME. Having John Connor use his immortality to take on near impossible missions, thereby helping make him into the leader he would become would be another awesome time paradox that those movies love. And making Salvation end with him sending Kyle back, suddenly making him vulnerable, with absolutely no idea of the future would definitely have me anticipating the next installment. Those /filmcast guys just don't get it.

Cannata, when your big ass ego shrinks a little bit, hire a real designer. Your template formatted website is pathetic. Squarespace is for cheap, two-bit websites. For the record, professionals looks like this: http://www.2advanced.com, http://www.wa007.com, and http://www.depthcore.com. Your in California, I'm surprised anyone takes you seriously with this joke of a content management system. Learn how to get a code php or design, or hire someone who knows how because squarespace is an insult to all designers out there. Hell, who am I kidding, you have your nose so far up all your sponsor's ass I doubt you'll ever want to change. By the way, TRS is not the Totally Jeff Show so quit interrupting Alex and Dan every single fucking time you want to throw you "professional" opinion over their reviews, its truly sickens the hell out of me. Honestly, I'd stop watching the show but I actually care what they have to say if I could ever hear it over your blabbering. Don't bother responding I wont read it.

I blame you. Now I'll be shouting "BARRY ZUCKERHORN" at random people on the bus. And not just when they sit too close to me.

Did not like Q House. He kept cutting away from your interview right in the middle of your sentence!

This was a year ago!! My moral outrage at Q House for being rude to you is now transferred to you! Update your blog! Geez. Ha.
