Tues, December 28th: Toronto Tweetup!
I'm doing my first ever Tweetup this week!
If you're in or near Toronto and would like to come out and say hi, I'd love to meet you. I'll be at the Friar & Firkin pub for a few hours, starting at 4:30pm. Hoping to get a couple of my Canadian gaming journo pals to show up as well. It'll be very casual, just come out for a drink and maybe meet some folks with similar interests.

Haha such an accurate desgise! I live very close to Toronto but I'm 16 so unless it's a bar/grill I'd probably be kicked out. Though I hear the beer is good here :D

I would love to come down to meet you and talk shop, but I have two sick kids to take care. If you have some time I would love for you to check our site out and give me some feedback. www.ps3gamergroup.ca has been up and about from last Feb and we have grown a lot since then but it seems like we are missing something. The one thing I also hear from you and the guys you work with especially the Weekend Confirmed boys that you don't like playing multiplayer games, because you hate dieing every 2 seconds. Well, at PS3Gamergroup, we host multiplayer games where you have a chance to play with people who all suck and we play to have fun with out the BS that goes with playing with complete strangers. We try and level the playing field so everyone can have a blast. Currently we play COD and GT5 on Wed and Fri nights.
Anyway that's it, I enjoy the shows you do, they keep me occupied on the go train when I go to work. If Megashawn shows up let him know I said hi, and I'll see him at the next Playstation event.

Jeff, would love to be there, but I'm getting my wife her baby quota time with the nieces and nephews in Cincinnati, dodging that bullet as long as possible.
If you get some time, you should hit up one of my favorite beer bars...in the world (read in Jeremy Clarkson's full on top gear voice), the Beer Bistro. http://www.beerbistro.com/ get the Belgian Fries and Muscles, the beer selection is fantastic, actually everything is fantastic. And it's only a mile from the firkin, which is a nice pub chain.
