    Godzilla attacks!

Here is my rather downhearted review of Godzilla, which had sparked a firestorm of feedback.  Now that the movie is out, do you agree with me?

I want to be a guy yelling at you, but I can't cheer you on for hating the Hunger Games (which Ai wanted to walk out of, I'm not just saying that because I have a grudge on YA adoptions) and then jeer at you for being real on Godzilla.

At least I'll have tempered expectations. :)

    Totally agree. Nicely said.

I'd agree with most of it. The issue with any Hollywood movie is that it would focus on the human acting, and would try to shove important things like aliens, monsters and robots into the background. But I guess Hollywood hasn't learned the lesson one of the scripwriter spoke through Ken Watanabe: "The arrogance of man is believing that he is in control of nature instead of the other way around." The human focus of the movie seems to maintain man's arrogance.
